Hi! My name is Katie. About a year after completing my doctorate in school psychology, I noticed I was tired all the time. I saw several doctors, who didn’t have a clue as to what was wrong, until a lump began growing near my clavicle and I was finally diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. That was nearly two years ago. Since that time I’ve had more than 50 cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. Given all the treatment and related side effects, I’m on leave from my work as a school psychologist. While I have yet to reach remission, I know I will someday!
